This product consists of one month of UHIP coverage for one dependant of a Visiting Scholar (professor, postdoctoral fellow, etc.) who is not a York University employee. Visiting Scholars may not enroll their dependants in UHIP through this mechanism without prior approval from the York International UHIP Administrator.

Tax is included in the cost of the product. As premiums may increase for the 2025-2026 year, the visiting scholar may not yet purchase coverage for their dependants for the period of September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. This will only be possible on August 1, 2025.
